Travel itinerary: Almaty - Chilik village - Kegen village - Tekes village - Karatogan village - frontier post "Bayankol" - Bayankol river - Keksentas River - Zharkulak gorge - Zharkulak gorge - Sarykoinou River - Zharkulak gorge - Keskentas River - Bayankol River - Almaty

Day 1. . Arrival in Almaty. Transfer, accommodation in hotel "Otrar" ****. Rest. Breakfast. City sightseeing: visit to the 28 Panfilov guardsmen memorial, Cathedral, Museum of national musical instruments, National museum, Medeo gorge, and Republic square (4 hours). Lunch at restaurant "Kazakh Aul". Dinner at restaurant "Otrar". Overnight in hotel. Day 2. Breakfast. Early departure: Almaty - Chilik village - Kegen village - Tekes village - Karatogan village - frontier post "Bayankol" (390 km). Lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight at frontier post "Bayankol". Overnight in tents.

Day 3. Breakfast. Transfer: frontier post "Bayankol" - Bayankol river - Keksentas River - Zharkulak gorge (3010m) (35 km). Daily elevaion gain of 300m. Our route follows a very rough, rocky road. Lunch en-route. Dinner. Night in tents.

Day 4. Breakfast. Hike: Zharkulak gorge - Sarykoinou River - base camp (3300m) (10 km). From Zharkulak gorge, hike up another gorge which leads to base camp. From Zharkulak gorge opens a superb panorama of the Central Tien Shan Mountains. Lunch en-route. Dinner. Night in tents.

Days 5-15. Acclimatization and climb of Marble Wall Peak. Breakfast, lunches, dinners. Nights in tents.

Day 16. Breakfast. Hike: Base camp - Sarykoinou River - Zharkulak gorge (10 km). Lunch en-route. Dinner. Night in tents.

Day 17. Breakfast. Transfer: Zharkulak gorge - Keskentas River - Bayankol River - frontier post "Bayankol" - Tekes village - Kegen village - Chilik village - Almaty (425 km). Lunch en-route. Arrival in Almaty. Accommodation in hotel "Otrar" ****. Dinner at restaurant "Otrar". Overnight in hotel.

Day 18. Transfer to airport. Departure from Almaty.
